Ethics Reform Act

Senator Campsen worked closely with Governor’s Haley’s administration for years to overhaul our ethics laws. The 2016 law made the legislature subject to SC Ethics Commission probable cause review while honoring the separation of power doctrine found in Article 12, Section 3 of the SC Constitution.
